AI Coach Sandi · Practical AI guidance, not hype

Feel like everyone else gets AI and you don't?

I'm not a techy either. I went from no coding at all to working in my own AI brain every workday, and I can get you started too. Tell me where you're stuck and I'll reply within 48 hours with what I'd suggest and what it would cost.

Sound familiar?

You're not behind. You just haven't had anyone to ask.

Maybe you've opened ChatGPT, typed something, got a wall of text, and closed it again. Maybe you've watched the videos. Joined a community and never posted. Read yet another LinkedIn post about what somebody's AI brain did for them this week, and felt that little drop in your stomach.

And underneath it all, one thought: I'm not technical. I won't get the hang of it. So why put the hours in?

I know that thought well, because I had it.

I'm not a developer. I've been a nurse, a midwife, a project manager, an educator, a quality coordinator and a qualified coach. I've run small businesses of my own, and since 2018 I've run Google Ads for small businesses, which I still do every week. When I started with AI properly in 2025 I couldn't write a line of code. Now I use it in my client work every day, and I built the system it runs in myself.

What I offer is somewhere to ask the questions you think are too basic to ask out loud, with someone who has been where you are.

What I help with

Two ways I can help

For anyone

Coaching on AI

For anyone who wants to actually start using AI in their work and keeps putting it off.

We begin with what you already do all day and find the first thing AI can take off your plate, using ChatGPT or Claude. When you're ready to go further, I'll tell you honestly what the next step is and where to find it.

I show you, on my screen, what AI can actually do with real work and how fast it does it. Then we work out what that looks like for you and what to do first. By the end of the first session you'll know where you're starting, and you'll have somewhere to ask when you get stuck.

For people who run Google Ads

AI-first Google Ads coaching

For people who run Google Ads for lead generation and want AI doing the heavy lifting.

I've run lead generation accounts for small businesses since 2018 and I use AI in them every week. I'll show you how I do it, with you at the keyboard on your own account.

Lead generation only. If you sell online, I'm not the right person, and I'll say so.

Not sure which you need? That's fine. Tell me what you're trying to do and I'll tell you what I'd suggest.

The other thing I do

Or your business can have its own AI brain

Coaching is one to one. This is for a business rather than a person. A private AI brain that holds how your business works, how you sound and the way you do things, and runs the repeatable work for you. You own it, you run it, and it gets better the longer you use it. I build it with you, around your own pain points. You don't need to join anything first.

Not the same as a chat tool

A chat tool remembers for the person typing, inside their own window. A business brain is shared, so what one person teaches it, everybody has, and a job comes out the same whoever runs it. And it's owned. Your business sits in files that belong to you, not in a history inside somebody's account.

Skills are the point

A skill is a job the brain has been taught to do your way, step by step, so it comes out right every time. The monthly report, the proposal first draft, the client update, the meeting follow-up, the post in your own voice. If it repeats, it can become a skill.

What changes

Work that took an afternoon takes minutes. What sits in one person's head goes into the brain instead, so a holiday doesn't take it with them. It comes out consistent whoever does it. And every bit of context you add makes the next job faster.

What you own, and what it costs to run

Everything in it is yours: the files, the context and every skill built into it, for use inside your own business. Your right to use it doesn't expire, and it keeps working for your team whether or not I stay involved. There's a setup cost to build it with you, then an ongoing charge to keep it maintained and add to it. Both are priced for your business, so I don't list a figure here. On top of that, it runs on Claude, so each person using it needs their own paid Claude plan, which you pay to Anthropic directly.

Tell me where the repeat work is in your business and I'll tell you whether a brain is the right answer.

What happens next

How it usually works

No packages to pick from. I price it for what you actually need.

You send me a few lines

About where you're stuck, using the form on this page.

I reply within 48 hours

With what I'd suggest and what it would cost. If I'm not the right person, I'll say so and point you somewhere better.

First session, online

Usually an hour. I show you on my screen what AI can actually do with real work, and how fast. Then we work out what that means for you and what to do first.

You go and try things

You'll leave with things to try before we meet again, and a written recap of what we did, so you're not relying on memory.

Follow-up session

What worked, what didn't, what's next. Most people book these two sessions together.

About me

Why me, and why not a developer

Before Google Ads I was a nurse, then a midwife. Across that career I also worked as a project manager, a midwifery educator and a quality coordinator, wrote clinical guidelines, and led a national Department of Health project on recruiting and retaining midwives across England. I've run small businesses of my own too, from face painting to holistic life coaching, which I trained in from 2011 and qualified in, in New Zealand, in 2013. None of it was technical.

Since 2018 I've built and run Google Ads campaigns for small businesses, and I still do, every week. In 2025 I became a founding member of Mike Rhodes' Ads to AI community and started working properly with AI, including building my own 8020Brain.

People kept asking me for help with theirs. I helped, for free, until I told Mike I couldn't keep giving my time away. He made me the first 8020Brain coach.

I've been a member of the PPC Hub, a community for people who run Google Ads, since April 2024. (PPC is pay per click: the paid adverts at the top of a Google search.) In September 2025 they gave me the Transformation Trophy, for going from midwife to running Google Ads at an agency to running my own business, and I was nominated for Community Champion the same year. In 2026 I'm nominated again, for Community Champion and for the Transformation Trophy, this time for becoming the first AI coach and building AI into my business.

I'm not the most technical person you'll find, and I don't need to be. I know what it's like to feel that this is all beyond you, and I know how to break it down until it isn't.

What people say

In their words, not mine

Charley Brennand

I'd first seen Sandi hit my LinkedIn network because of all the amazing shout-outs she was getting from people in the PPC Hub community, even from their founders Bob and Miles. She came across super engaged and EAGER to learn and seeing anyone have that in PPC is just refreshing because so many profess to be "experts" or "gurus". I'd then see her posting a lot more about AI and at the time, I felt super conflicted about my own capabilities with AI. I was never a script-fiend, or a "coding wizard" or Tag Manager wonderchild and as a result, have historically labelled myself as not a "techy" person.

Speaking with Sandi, and having her support me on some of the journey to getting started with AI has been CRUCIAL in breaking down that mental barrier. As Sandi would say, if she can do it as a retired midwife and make a BIG FAT SUCCESS of it, there's not really space for "I'm not XYZ enough". Sandi helps you find your route in and to me, that's been priceless.

Sandra offered to help. This morning, she walked me through her setup. The key message? "I'm not technical either, and I still did it. So you definitely can too." … The "too technical" excuse was just fear talking.

After catching up with Sandi, everything finally clicked. She showed me how she uses it in her own work, gave me some simple things to test out, and helped me see that it's actually a lot more straightforward than I was making it out to be. Sandi's approach really helped me stop worrying about the "how" and just start using it. Now, instead of feeling overwhelmed, I feel more confident than ever about using AI.

I'm just so impressed by how much you help everyone else. You're a joy to have in the community. And to see what you're building every day with the brain given the super short time you've been using it is EXACTLY why I started this group and created the brain.

Questions people ask

Before you get in touch

I'm not ready yet. Shouldn't I do some reading first?

No. Waiting until you feel ready is the thing that keeps most people stuck. The first session is designed for someone who has done nothing yet. Come as you are.

I'm worried my questions are too basic.

There's no such thing here. The questions you think are stupid are the ones everybody has and nobody asks. That's the whole point of doing this one to one rather than in a group.

Do I need to be technical?

No. I'm not. If you can use email and a web browser, you can do this.

What actually happens in a session?

We're online, usually for an hour. I show you on my screen what AI can do with real work and how quickly. Then we work out what to do first in your situation. You leave with things to try and a written recap.

Would you do it for me, or teach me to do it?

Mostly teach, because that's what lasts. If you want something built for you, say so in the form and we'll talk about it.

Do you work with people outside the UK?

Yes. I've coached people in Australia and New Zealand as well as here. Tell me where you are and we'll find a time that works.

I'm an Ads to AI member. Is this the same as your coaching on Mike's page?

If you want 8020Brain coaching at member prices, book through my page on Ads to AI. This page is for everything else.

How much is it?

It depends what you need, so I don't list prices. Tell me what you're after and I'll reply within 48 hours with a suggestion and a figure. No obligation.

Stop waiting until you feel ready

  • A reply from me within 48 hours, in writing
  • What I'd suggest, and what it would cost
  • No call to sit through, nothing to prepare, no obligation

The people who get the most out of this are the ones who thought they weren't ready.
